Cancer Support Sanctuary LARCC in Multyfarnham is proud to announce that we will be hosting ‘Massage and Touch Techniques for Cancer and Supportive Care’ facilitated by Lyn Lamont and Ann Marie McGrath in October and November 2017.
This four-day course conducted over two weekends is designed for those trained to diploma level in Massage Therapy. Combining clinical information and practical experience this course will prepare therapists to work safely and confidently with clients who have had or are currently in treatment for cancer.
Lyn Lamont BSc., Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Dip Careers Guidance and Counselling, Diplomas in Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology, Dip Advanced Reflexive Supervision. As complementary therapy coordinator to the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre Lyn has been training therapists to deliver massage, aromatherapy and reflexology for clients in hospital and community support services since 1999.
Ann Marie Mc Grath RGN, BSc (Hons) Complementary Medicine in Healthcare, ITEC Diploma Complementary Therapies (Anatomy, Physiology & Body Massage, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology), Certificate in Community and Adult Ed. Ann Marie has vast experience working with people living with cancer; including private practice, cancer support, and since 2002, in hospice care as a CNS in complementary therapies.
