The sun shone on last Friday 20th May to welcome the President of Ireland Mary McAleese to the Franciscan Friary at Multyfarnham to officially launch the re-development of the Friary, including LARCC’s new Cancer Support Centre.
President McAleese praised the re-development and the foresight of those who initiated the project many years ago. She wished LARCC well in it’s new home when the time comes that the Centre is fully operational.
LARCC is still delivering all it’s services from it’s Centre in Ballinalack but does hope to be moving to the new Centre in Multyfarnham in the next month or two. LARCC will keep visitors to the website informed as the move happens.
