Workshop: ‘Talking with Children & Adolescents about Cancer’

On Wednesday 23rd July at 8.00pm  Leonor Rodriguez from the The School of Psychology NUI Galway and the AMC Study ‘Adolescent Adjustment to Maternal Cancer’  will hold a workshop on ‘Talking with Children and Adolescents about Cancer’ here at the LARCC Cancer Centre, Multyfarnham.

These workshops aim to provide tools and skills for parents on how to talk about cancer and how to improve child and adolescent adjustment to a potentially life changing experience. Information will also be provided on the possible impact of parental cancer and how to support adolescents to manage, learn and grow from this experience and acquire skills that will be of benefit for their lives in the future.
